Treatment for your spine, muscles, joints and nerves

What do we treat?

What we Treat

Here are a few of the conditions that our clinic successfully treats every day. Even if you have had one of these conditions for a number of years, chiropractic care can often help to give you pain relief within a few weeks.

Low back pain, related to conditions of the muscles, joints and nerves, disc injuries, spondylolisthesis, stenosis, spondylosis and many other medically diagnosed conditions of the spine.

Slipped or prolapsed discs, which often cause associated problems with the muscles, joints and nerves of the low back and can lead to trapped nerves and sciatica.

Sciatica (in the hip, bottom, leg or foot), which can be due to a damaged/slipped disc, a trapped nerve, a pulled muscle, or the strains of pregnancy.

Neck pain related to conditions of the muscles, joints and nerves, including spinal arthritis or spondylosis, and trapped nerves affecting the neck and arm.

Headaches affect many people with neck problems as they often originate in the muscles, joints and nerves of the neck and shoulders.

Arm and leg pain, including frozen shoulders, tennis elbow, golfer's elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, hip pain, groin pain, cartilage and ligament injuries to the knee, hamstring strains and sprained ankles. Most tendon and ligament problems.

Car accidents/whiplash, which can cause damage and loss of movement in the muscles, joints and nerves of the neck, shoulders and back.

Sports injuries are usually treated by Mr Chris Green, our sports injury specialist. He looks after St Judes amateur rugby club and is in charge of Leigh RLFC's physiotherapy department. Claire Taylor also helps these injuries with sports massage therapy.

Weight and fitness can be improved with help from Claire Taylor , who is our qualified personal trainer. She can work with you at either our clinic or the local DW health club to improve your figure, health and fitness.
